On the 23rd of November 2023, RES4Africa Foundation in collaboration with Enel Green Power, will hold the webinar “Connecting the Dots: 10 years of renewable energy in East Africa”, in the framework of the Access to Energy initiative. The event, which will take place online from 10:00 to 11:30 CET, will be the occasion to present the fourth analysis of the Connecting the Dots series.
Connecting the Dots is a series of studies aiming at unveiling insights of the renewable energy sector in some of the regions with the highest renewable potential in the world. This year, the analysis focuses on the main features of East Africa, its vulnerability to climate change impacts and its socio-economic context. Building on facts and figures the analysis tries to present what would be needed to achieve access to affordable, reliable, sustainable energy for all.
The webinar will also host interventions from international organisations that will highlight achievements and challenges within the East Africa region.
