As part of the Salon International de la Transition Énergétique in Tunis, to be held from October 25th to 27th 2023, RES4Africa will host a panel on energy storage on October 26th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m, in collaboration with the Chambre Syndicale du Photovoltaïque (CSPV).
The Salon International de la Transition Énergétique, held at the headquarters of the Union Tunisienne de l'Industrie, du Commerce et de l'Artisanat (UTICA), is a must-attend conference and exhibition for key players in the Tunisian energy sector, including the private sector. This event offers a unique opportunity to discuss current and future energy matters in Tunisia, with a focus on new technologies for a sustainable energy transition.
The panel, which will include presentations and an open discussion, will be held in French as the main language and will look at energy storage systems and their applications, focusing on the Tunisian case. On this occasion, the RES4Africa report on battery energy storage systems in Tunisia will be presented. The event will bring together the main energy players in Tunisia and members of RES4Africa for an open dialogue between the public and private sectors and is part of the Foundation's long-standing collaboration with its Tunisian partners and its programme of activities in the Mediterranean.

Le Salon International de la Transition Énergétique, tenue au Siège de Union Tunisienne de l'Industrie, du Commerce et de l'Artisanat (UTICA), est une Conférence-Expo incontournable pour les acteurs clés du secteur de l'énergie tunisien, y compris le secteur privé. Cet événement nous offre une occasion unique de discuter des enjeux énergétiques actuels et futurs en Tunisie, en mettant l’accent sur les nouvelles technologies au service d’une transition énergétique durable.
Le panel, qui comprendra des présentations et une discussion ouverte, se déroulera principalement en français et abordera les systèmes de stockage d'énergie et leurs applications, en se concentrant sur le cas tunisien. À cette occasion, le rapport de RES4Africa sur les systèmes de stockage d'énergie par batterie en Tunisie sera présenté. L'événement réunira les principaux acteurs de l'énergie en Tunisie ainsi que des membres de RES4Africa pour un dialogue ouvert entre le secteur public et privé, et s'inscrit dans le cadre de la collaboration de longue date de la Fondation avec ses partenaires tunisiens et son programme d'activités en Méditerranée.
