Rome, 13th of December 2022 – RES4Africa’s Executive Committee welcomed 4 new representatives from its member entities Siemens Gamesa, PwC, EDP Renewables, and RINA. The new members come as a replacement of previous figures from the same companies.

RES4Africa's Executive Committee is the Foundation's high level management board, endowed with full power of taking any action deemed appropriate to implement RES4Africa's official Aims. Among its prerogatives, the Executive Committee can appoint the president and the Secretary General and dismiss him/her, decided on the admission and annual renewals of RES4Africa's members, approve strategies and actions plans, and taking care of a wide array of financial and administrative duties. To this day, RES4Africa's Executie Committee is composed by 11 representatives from RES4Africa's member entities: Enel Green Power, PwC, Siemens Gamesa, Schneider Electric, EDP Renewables, Intesa San Paolo, Terna, CESI Spa, Prysmian Group, and Vestas.

4 new members of the Executive Committee were introduced today: Fabrizio Acerbis is a Senior Partner at PwC, and will substitute Mr. Giovanni Poggio. Another new entry is Marcel Cabral, Africa Head of Sales at Siemens Gamesa, who will take the place of Jean Pierre Sanchez. Rafael Solís, Director of Public Affairs & Community relations at EDP Renewables will step in in replacement of Duarte Bello, while Raimondo De Laurentiis, Senior Director of the Green Energy Solutions division at RINA Consulting, will take the place of Gianluca Cassulo.
