JOB POSTING: Access to Energy Analyst

RES4Africa Foundation is looking for an analyst to expand its Access to Energy team. The resource will support the efforts in research and analysis, developing knowledge products and operational instruments. She/he will also support new project development efforts, from the energy market to socio-economic analysis to on-field pilot projects.

The background of the ideal candidate should comprise the following features:

  • A master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business, or in a related field of study;

  • At least 2 years of experience in international companies, consulting firms, NGOs, with a demonstrated ability to engage on a range of issues in the energy sector in African Countries;

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Working knowledge of French will be a plus;

  • Excellent analytics, writing and synthesis skills. Advanced use of Microsoft Office package;

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to confidentiality are fundamental.
