RES4Africa is happy to announce the launch of a Tender Procedure for establishing a Technical and Vocational School specializing in Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) Systems. This initiative aims to promote education and training in renewable energy technologies, thereby contributing to sustainable development and improving energy access across Africa.

We invite all interested parties to submit their technical and economic offers by Friday, 7th March 2025 (11.59 PM CET). Submissions should be sent to the address provided in the same Annex. By participating, applicants agree to receive notifications of the procedure’s outcome electronically.

• Does the budget cover both Phase 1 and Phase 2, or only Phase 1?

It covers both phases.

• Could you clarify the requirement that the Service Provider must have " a valid chamber of commerce registration?"

We refer to any official document that describes your company's business activities. Please send the documents you have available.

• Should the offer include the methodology for both Phase 1 and Phase 2?

 YES, please describe how you intend to proceed, focusing on phase 1.

• Can the lectureship timing be optimised to fit the program within 10 days? This adjustment would accommodate attendees and trainers better, ensuring a more convenient stay in Ben Guerir.

In any case, the plan must include 20 days, divided into two sessions of 10 days each (2 weeks).

• Considering the required scope (man-days) and the consultant's expectation to cover logistics costs, would it be possible to submit a proposal exceeding the budget amount, or would that result in disqualification?

According to the tender rules, there are no restrictions for the economic offer.

• Are the Training’s modules and the relative lecture to be updated and carried out in the French language?

The chosen Language is English, both for the training material and the lessons.
