Rome 29th March 2024 - In the framework of the Reskilling Lab initiative in Mpumalanga, RES4Africa Foundation, in collaboration with Nkangala TVET College and MSC Master Artisan Academy have organized a complementary 5-days intensive programme, representing an additional effort to deliver theoretical and practical expertise covering technical and soft skills for business development in renewable energy.
Eight individuals, including five esteemed lecturers from the Reskilling Lab Pilot in Nkangala TVET College and three outstanding performers from the Entrepreneurial Training program in Mpumalanga, actively engaged in this dynamic learning experience.
In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to the Reskilling Lab Pilot's vision, RES4Africa stepped forward to sponsor all eight participants to take the assessment. This pivotal sponsorship paves the way for the participants' involvement in a rigorous two-day evaluation slated to allow them to certify PV Installations with the PV Green Card. The PV Green Card is a safety and Quality Assurance certification designed for the South African PV market. The assessment dates are scheduled for April.
Together with the completion of the complementary training, we are delighted to announce the successful accreditation of the Energy Performance Certificate Practitioner (EPCP) at Nkangala TVET College - Top of the World Campus. This accreditation has been granted by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO), which is responsible for accrediting Skills Development Providers (SDPs).
These achievements underscore the importance of the Reskilling Lab program within the Capacity Building activities in RES4Africa Foundation.
