RES4Africa Foundation is looking for an energy analyst to join the Policy and Regulatory team, in order to support RES4Africa programmes Water-Energy-Food (WEF) and the Missing Link (implemented in cooperation with UNECA).
The ideal candidate should have the following background:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, social/political sciences, education, international development or equivalent in relevant field;
At least 2 years of experience in international companies, consulting firms, NGOs, with demonstrated ability to engage on a range of issues in the energy sector in African Countries;
Knowledge of the basics of electricity market regulation and renewable energy supporting mechanisms;
Proved excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English;
Excellent analytics, writing and synthesis skills;
Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
Previous experience with international Organizations and Institutions is desirable (governmental,
multilateral, bilateral or civil society organisations...);
