JOB POSTING: Missing Link and WEF Energy Analyst ( French Speaking)

RES4Africa Foundation is looking for an energy analyst to join the Policy and Regulatory team, in order to support RES4Africa programmes Water-Energy-Food (WEF) and the Missing Link (implemented in cooperation with UNECA).

The ideal candidate should have the following background:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, social/political sciences, education, international development or equivalent in relevant field;

  • At least 2 years of experience in international companies, consulting firms, NGOs, with demonstrated ability to engage on a range of issues in the energy sector in African Countries;

  • Knowledge of the basics of electricity market regulation and renewable energy supporting mechanisms;

  • Proved excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English;

  • Excellent analytics, writing and synthesis skills;

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment;

  • Previous experience with international Organizations and Institutions is desirable (governmental,

    multilateral, bilateral or civil society organisations...);

  • Excellent analytics, writing and synthesis skills.
