Rome, 5th of July 2023 - RES4Africa Foundation welcomes Bticino and Nidec as its newest members, further enhancing its mission to promote renewable energy development and sustainability across Africa through a thick network of sectorial stakeholders. The announcement was made today, on the occasion of RES4Africa's Executive Committee meeting.
Since 2012, RES4Africa's vision of supporting Africa’s just energy transition and ensuring access to sustainable electricity to all has been pursued by bringing together member entities and companies operating in various fields of the renewable energy market, as the world seeks to accelerate the energy transition to renewable energy sources. Bticino's and Nidec's expertise in electrical and digital infrastructures will help serving such a purpose.
Bticino, a Group Brand of Legrand, is renowned for its transformative solutions aiming at revolutionising living, working, and meeting spaces through electrical and digital infrastructures. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, its expertise spans various sectors, in particular data centers.
