Rome, 4th of June 2023– RES4Africa Foundation wholeheartedly believes in the potential of Africa's youth to create unprecedented impact with their solutions to challenges facing the energy and environmental sectors. This would not only result in a great degree of innovation, but also grant the continent a greater amount of climate resilience and social change.
That’s why, in collaboration with Enel Green Power (EGP) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), RES4Africa is currently holding the fourth edition of the RES4Africa Academy Young Talent of the Year Award (former MGA), aiming at supporting African youth’s start-ups, projects and entrepreneurial ideas with financial aid and visibility.
In this broader framework, the Foundation will virtually host the Public Competition for Finalists, on the 26th of July 2023. The contest will see 6-8 finalists of this edition of the RES4Africa Academy Young Talent of the Year Award publicly presenting their project ideas, with the presence of the entities supporting the Award (Enel Green Power and the European Investment Bank). After the gathering, a final round of evaluations will lead to the identification of the 3 winners, who will be presented by the end of the year.
